Vision 84

La Vista’s long-range planning process for the 84th Street corridor is ready for the next stage.

In April 2010, the La Vista City Council unanimously approved the Vision 84 plan, which calls for the creation of a true downtown La Vista, incorporating the corridor’s distinct identity with a vibrant mix of land uses, a sense of community and a high quality of life for all residents.

The City Council-approved plan is still a living document, which means it’s flexible and can be adapted to several different scenarios when financing and specific projects are more well-known.
