  7. Roundball Reindeer Shootout

    FREE THROW CONTEST This FREE event is for children & their parent/guardian or grandparent to compete together as a team. Each team member will shoot 15 free throws for a chance to win a prize.* Boys and girls will compete separately, and prizes will be awarded to the top team in each grade. K-4th Grade: 1:00 PM 5th-8th Grade: 2:30PM Shoot at an 8-foot hoop Shoot at a 10-foot hoop Registration and warm-ups begin 30 minutes before scheduled start time. NEW THIS YEAR: 3-POINT CONTEST Also, FREE, this event is for 5th-8th grade kids only. Each participant will shoot 3 shots from 5 different locations beyond the arc, totaling 15 shots. Boys and girls will compete separately, and prizes will be awarded to the top shooter in each grade. Contest begins at 3:30 p.m. Co-sponsored by the City of LaVista and Sarpy County Tourism. *One prize awarded per family. All equipment is provided.
