Beginning Genealogy Series at the Library September 12-October 3

The Library will be hosting a Beginning Genealogy series this fall. Following are the dates, times and topics of each session:

It’s all about you!
September 12, 6:30 p.m.
Goal: to start a family tree

Going back in time!
September 19, 6:30 p.m.
Goal: To become aware of available documents about your ancestors.

...And the search begins
September 26, 6:30 p.m.
Goal: To be able to use some of the websites to find information for genealogical proof standards.

Making it personal by adding family documents
October 3, 6:30 p.m.
Goal: Putting it together
