Genealogy Gofers
Genealogy Gofers for CC.jpg

The La Vista Public Library is forming a new group geared toward those interested in genealogy!

The Genealogy Gofers will be a cooperative effort between the members of the group to further each other's research by using other people's experiences.

Genealogy has many avenues that one can take to find out family history...maps, history, records, newspapers, family papers, migration routes, DNA, all the ethnic groups, and many others.

If you like to dig and find new directions to your ancestors, join the Genealogy Gofers.

This group meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the La Vista Public Library (9110 Giles Rd.)

For more information, call the Library, 402-537-3900, or e-mail the group facilitator, Gloria Waters.
