7/8 Coach Pitch

The La Vista Recreation Department offers Coach Pitch Softball for children ages 7/8 in the spring of each year. La Vista Recreation partners with Papillion Softball to play all league games which provides a great opportunity for our area youth.

Season Information

Practice will tentatively start the week of April 1 (weather permitting). Practices are held at the coach’s discretion during the week. Games will begin April 23 and finish June 30. Game days and locations vary, and can be held during the week and on the weekends.

Registration

Registration begins January 5, 2026

Registration can be completed online, by phone at 402-331-3455, or in-person at the Community Center.

  • Ages: 7/8 as of of May 1, 2026

Early Registration: January 5 - February 12:

  • Residents: $50    Non-residents: $65

Late Registration: February 13 - February 28:

  • Residents: $60     Non-residents: $75

Final Registration: February 28, 2026

Practices begin week of April 1, 2026

Games: April 23 - June 30
