Youth Flag Football (Coed) 

Flag Football

The La Vista Recreation Department offers a youth flag football program for boys and girls grades Pre-Kindergarten (4 yrs old minimum) - 6th grades. There is a spring league and a fall league which teams can choose to participate in. La Vista teams play in the Sarpy County Flag Football League. The League is dedicated to improving youth sports by teaching and developing skills, promoting maximum participation and providing a fair, safe environment. 

Spring Season Information

Practice will tentatively begin the week of April 1, (weather permitting). Practices are held at the coach’s discretion during the week. All games will be played on Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings/afternoons at the La Vista Sports Complex, Papillion Landing, BJSA and/or Spirit Field in Papillion beginning on April 18 and ending on June 20.

Divisions:  (grade as of January 1, 2026)

  • Pre-K/Kdg (4 yrs old minimum) 
  • 1st/2nd grades
  • 3rd/4th grades
  • 5th/6th grades

Registration

Registration begins January 5, 2026

Registration can be completed online, by phone at 402-331-3455, or in-person at the Community Center.

Early Registration: January 5 - February 12:

  • Residents: $33     Non-residents: $53

Late Registration: February 13 - February 28:

  • Residents: $43    Non-residents: $63

Final Registration: February 28, 2026

Games: April 18 - June 20

Fall Season Information
